Nikki and Dave’s wedding at Heaton House Farm

Me: Where’s your dress?
Nikki: Not sure.
Me: Oh, you might need that…
Nikki: Yeah, it’s probably here somewhere…

This was my opening conversation with Nikki back in May when I arrived at her and Dave’s wedding at Heaton House Farm. And from this short conversation I knew that it was going to be an amazing wedding, and it truly was. I think Nikki followed up this conversation by saying something like “I’m not a typical bride!”. Needless to say her dress eventually found its way to her room, although I truthfully don’t think Nikki would have been overly bothered if it hadn’t!! I’ve never seen someone wear a smile as permanently as Nikki did that day at Heaton House Farm. Her and Dave are such warm and friendly people, making me feel like a good old friend on the day as we laughed our way around Heaton House farm and ventured out into the gale force winds to get some photos on the hill by the famouse HHF oak tree. They wanted everything to be super chilled, relaxed and easy and it most certainly was. It had that feel that all their family and friends had just come over to their house for the day – all the celebrations without any of the formalities.

I’ve just ordered Nikki and Dave’s Queensberry Album for them and I can’t wait for them to get their hands on it in a few weeks. You guys – it was such fun spending the day with you at your Heaton House Farm wedding, I had a brilliant time and I know you did too! Massive congratulations and keep smiling!!
