Because each wedding is different and each couple's needs are different, my wedding photography starts at 8 hours coverage and from there you can add extra hours, albums, pre-wedding shoot, additional photographers or my custom 'moment motion magic' film.

Good question! There's no definite answer to this. I can only take 20-25 wedding photography bookings each year and I'm lucky enough to book up every year. So when you find a photographer whose work you love (hopefully that's me), get in touch with them straight away!

Yes absolutely. I've been a full time wedding photographer since 2011 so I don't have to fit my weddings around another job. This means whether you're getting married on a January Tuesday in Cheshire or a July Saturday in Inverness, I'd love to be your wedding photographer.

I got my first 'proper' camera in 2007 for my own honeymoon, and was immediately hooked. I assisted my friend on a Cheshire wedding in 2009 and set up ARJ Photography later that year. My first official ARJ Photography wedding was in Feb 2010 and I went full time with wedding photography in June 2011. My first destination wedding was 2012 and I was named UK wedding photographer of the year in 2016 and 2018.

Look for someone with a timeless style, nothing too trendy or of-the-moment. I believe that your wedding photos are for you to enjoy more and more as each decade passes. If you look at photos of strangers and feel moved by them, then there's a good chance you've found your wedding photographer, and hopefully it's me!

Yes I absolutely love engagement shoots and pre-wedding shoots. These are only available if you're booking me for your wedding, not as a standalone shoot, and you can add one to your package when booking with me.

If it rains on your wedding day, then I promise you it won't spoil your day. In all my time as a wedding photographer I've never known the weather to spoil anyone's day. I've taken some of my favourite photos during rainy weddings - and this is the UK after all! Usually we can work around the weather and you can still get some outdoor photos, but if not then we will embrace the challenge and I'll just make beautiful photos for you indoors instead!

This is a GREAT question to ask, and with me I promise you'll have all your edited photos within 4 weeks (usually sooner) and a preview set of photos (10-20) within 48 hours of your wedding. All my photos are hand edited by me (no AI editing software).

You'll get full resolution digital files of all your edited wedding photos in a private online gallery, and if you choose to you can add one of my exclusive ARJ Books to your package to have a truly amazing wedding album.

I will ask you to fill in a questionnaire for me about a month before your wedding. This would be where you let me know any specific group photos you want on the wedding day, and any other photo requests you have. I don't recommend providing a detailed shot list though.

I do all the editing of your photos by hand, by myself. I don't outsource this and I don't use any AI editing software to help me. I'm very passionate about this being part of the service you're paying me for and my editing style is something I've worked exceptionally hard on over the years.

I use Sony cameras with a range of prime lenses to capture your wedding in the highest quality. My cameras are top of the range and regularly serviced to ensure peak reliability so nothing can go wrong. I also have lots of lighting equipment if needed to make sure your wedding is captured beautifully whatever the weather and lighting conditions!

I've worked incredibly hard to create a very unique style of wedding photography based around how I capture the colour and light of any scene, venue or location but most importantly I focus on the iconic moments that happen at weddings - your people and your day. And then I edit in my own signature style which a lot of other photographers covet and ask me to teach them my secret sauce!

I do own a drone, and I do bring it to weddings, but in all honesty I find it a gimmicky distraction and prefer to take photos with my cameras. A drone can be nice for a quick venue shot or some large group photos but apart from that I don't take many drone photos at my weddings.
